Community Tasting Notes 2

July 16, 2011 - This is really good. If tasted blind I would have guessed Sauvignon blanc but I think this is all verdejo. Very rich, some tropical fruit, minerals, and a gingery spiciness (without much ginger, if that makes sense). Has that prickliness on the palate thhe a Zealand Sauvignon blanc would have, but without the unctuousness that sometimes overwhelms. Sweet and savory at the same time. Big win.
