December 30, 2023 - Drank w/Steve Polly at Asti. Table decant for 30 minutes. Hollow mid palate and not showing much on the nose. Lacking depth and breadth. Started to open a bit more towards the end of our meal - classic Nebbiolo. Still seems way too young and if drinking now a MUCH longer decant. Wait 3-5 for remaining bottles. Upside to age much longer.

January 25, 2023 - Wow! Virtually perfect. Big and rich but still light on its feet. There is blueberry and hedge row and cinnamon and cedar. Full weight, acidity and tannin support but are well covered by the wonderful fruit. Long, complex. Drinking perfectly now. I think it is as good as its ever going to be, so drink and enjoy!

November 20, 2021 - Double decanted 1.5 hours, wish I had done more. Great depth of fruit and outstanding balance. Great nose of dark Frits and roses and licorice. Palate is full with dark fruit and savory notes and some leather. Tannins still present and detract a bit, but became more integrated with air. Great bottle that will likely improve and glad I have more.

January 10, 2020 - At the moment, the 2006 vintage is easier to drink than the 2004. Good but not very exciting. Tannic.

September 4, 2014 - 30e anniversaire de Vincent: Nez plus sévère que le DRC, avec un peu de réglisse, du fruit noir et du cuir, des notes un peu mentholées. Tout se passe en bouche: c'est viril et noble, austère mais aérien, droit, complexe et sauvage, un vin complet, magnifique. Très jeune, mais grand vin. 95
