March 1, 2015 - Dark ruby with slight brick red rims, fresh and fruity nose, classic dark sour cherry with perfumed oak and some earthy, rustic undertones.
Light medium bodied, soft mid-palate, exhibits red cherry, sour cherry, earth and leather. Classic Chianti with bright acidity, smooth and long finish with velvety tannins. Drinking very well now but lack of complexity and ageing potential. -

December 15, 2012 - Rather thin, not that complex or interesting.
Much better on second day, when served in Riedel stemware. A bit more layered, but still a rather simple red. A good every day wine, but hard to justify for $20 a bottle. -
