June 10, 2023 - NNT wine club, June 2023: Maturation comparison (Brisbane): Soggy cork may have contributed to an underwhelming bottle. Kerosene, preserved lime but surprisingly dry rather than mature sweetness. Not unpleasant but definitely past its best.

March 20, 2023 - Very soft cork but thankfully the wine seems unaffected. Still lots of fruit with ripe lemon curd, bruised apple and spicy quince. Solid kerosene whiff but not overpowering. Surprisingly sweet tasting, though I assume no residual sugar. Weighty, slightly oily, mouthfeel. The third glass poured was fading noticeably quicker than the first glass, so probably at the end of its peak, so drink reasonably soon while it's still in great condition.
