October 24, 2015 - This obscure passito style dessert wine made with the Nasco grape was an unexpected treat. Clear, bright, medium (+) to deep gold in color, with medium (+) viscosity. The nose is clean, complex and developing, with aromas of peach, bitter orange marmalade; star fruit, herbs (mint, anise), candied lemons, citrus blossom, cinnamon, clove, caramel. The palate is sweet, but the medium (+) acidity balances out its delicious unctuousness. The alcohol is medium at 14%. The palate is consistent with the nose, with a rich body, intense flavors and a very long finish. This is a remarkably youthful wine at ten years and is worth seeking out.

July 20, 2009 - Orange color. Fat and sweet but with good acid. Aromas and taste of tropical fruits and peach. Great desert wine. Goes great with Crema Catalan. Drank at Al Tuguri resturant in Alghero Sardinia
