February 23, 2024 - Glad we decanted. Opened with 45 minutes air. Bit of funk but dusty attic. Fully mature. Further development unlikely—drink now.

April 4, 2013 - Don't worry: Lots of mileage to go here. Starting to enter drinking window, though tannins are still firm. Terrific balance here, with a fine structure in a perfumed nose with earthy notes to its forest floor finish. Elegant and traditional Brunello for the long-haul.

October 25, 2008 - Day after from memory. In lovely condition tonight, really at its peak. Deep plum flavors with an appealingly light streak of anise, superb texture. Wish I could remember more.
