Community Tasting Notes 2

August 14, 2016 - A bit stalky. Not as refined as anticipated, though not unpleasant.

September 27, 2011 - mature, long and delicious. Bought at close price of $25 and was surprised how well it showed since I was worried about storage. Slightly hollow mid-palette and fully intergrated acidity. Clearly saw oak but it was only a secondary flavor at this point. Nice nose of earth and a smoked meat. Excellent with cold meats, pates and mousse.
