March 23, 2011 - Medium to dark purple. Aromas of cherry, apple skin, oak, incense, sulfur. Medium sweetness, medium acidity. Medium body, strong tannins. Overall pretty forgettable...plenty of sulfites make the nose less than enticing, and the tannins are rather rough and harsh. Not without some good points, but not something I'd take much delight in.
