  January 10, 2022 - This wine is hard to figure out. Its good, its enjoyable, but I cant figure out if its at peak or if it may come together more. Good concentration, but when first opened has a lot of acidity on top of the fruit. With further breathing the fruit opens up further, but then tannins show up and are prominent (but not overwhelming or overbearing). Should the tannins and acidity integrate further this would merit a higher score. As is, with some breathing, its a nice wine with nice ruby color, velvety spicy floral dark and red fruit bouquet. Medium bodied with good concentration, fleshy velvety perfume dark fruit flavors with lots of tart acidity. Long finish. Drink now and probably over the next 5 years? I will keep following this probably every 6 months.

  May 9, 2021 - Good concentration. A little bit tight and a little bit acidic. Tastes like it needs more time. I need to retry soon again but this time plenty of time to let it breathe. This was only consumed over a short period of time without enough time to let it really aerate

  March 9, 2021 - Dark color. Smokey earthy fruity bouquet. On the palate there is good concentration and some fruit especially plum and Earth with a hint of cassis but the acidity is overwhelming along with the tannins which makes me wonder if this might be an off bottle. Need to retry soon but I think this is probably not representative.
