  Notes more or less identical to last bottle consumed 6 months ago.
  So fine, fruit and acidity in a perfect symbiose.
  So complex and layered - still just so quaffable.
  Riesling don't come better than this.

  July 13, 2022 - One year sine Karl - Josef (KaJo) died.
  Such a pity, no one makes or has made Riesling from his region in Mosel better, ever.
  He was and still are de undisputed wizard of Mosel.
  Tell Tale KaJo Ürziger Würzgarten nose!
  Flowers, honey, warm slate, tropical tutti - frutti and that lovely diesel.
  Palate is delicious, so balanced - perfect mix of sweetness and acidity - no ne does it better.
  Lemons, a tiny spicy fine bitterness, ripe citrus, honey...
  Such depth and complexity in this wine - simply fantastic.
  Enough material for another 30+ years, but outright amazing now.
  This ladies and gentlemen are nothing short of world-class Riesling made by the greatest ever.

  September 7, 2011 - Tasting Riesling at Jos. Christoffel Jr. (Ürzig, Germany): AP #3: The nose delivers scents of spicy apples and rhubarb crisp. On the palate, I taste juicy apples sweetened with a touch of honey and balanced by lovely lime flavors. The wine has a great feeling of richness cut by clear and vibrant acidity. A floral flavor appears along the sides of the mouth, and a bit of pie crust shows on the finish. The acid dries politely on the finish.
