September 17, 2022 - Textbook across from start to finish , lovely oxidation, nutty, soft caramel , rich and at times even floral. Good rich feel on the palate but not overwhelming and does the part. 90-91

February 2, 2016 - Madeira Pilgrimage; 2/1/2016-2/4/2016 (Madeira): Smells of yellow flowers and orange peels. Pure and zesty on the palate, despite the richness this is a fresh and lively wine. Fruity and tropical but so much freshness. I get almonds, sea salt and honeyed tea notes as well. Very complex and long.
