January 3, 2022 - Still drinking well after 22 years! Lots of fruit, balanced and probably at it's peak.

March 22, 2014 - Pleasantly surprised at the brilliance still showing here; I haven't had one of their early 2000s merlot in ages. I wouldn't expect these to get in a better place than they are right now, so drink up folks..

December 1, 2010 - Brick red. Medium to full-bodied. Black cherry, mocha, graphite. Drinking well.

November 21, 2010 - Beautiful. Deep brick red color, wonderful and mature fruit on the nose and smooth long tannins in great focus. I've stayed away from merlot for a long long time, and got a chance to return by having this one and two bottles of 98 & 99 canoe ridge reserve merlot. A great weekend to rediscover properly aged and well made merlots. Great fruit, but not over the top or flabby at all

I would definitely recommend getting some as long ad it's been stored well. Not sure how much more it will age, but it's already perfectly ready to drink now

March 10, 2009 - A wonderfully balanced wine. Raspberry, cherry, plum, caramel, coffee, and sweet herbs on the nose. Cooked raspberries, salted veggies, coffee, leather, spice, and chocolate on the palate. Medium body and some nice tannins on the medium plus finish. Went well with chicken ratatouille. Wife's score=93.
