March 31, 2012 - I think I needed to let this breathe a bit more.

March 3, 2012 - Originally tasted at a wine event in 2009, when it had more fruits on the nose and palette. Dark ruby in appearance, lots of oak and some black fruit on the nose. On the palette, very little fruits remain, and even after decanting for 2 hours, still very tannic. Imbalanced by a lack of acidity. Tasted on the 2nd day and it wasn't any better.
