February 9, 2023 - Zombie wines of North London (Terra Rossa): Quite ripe (especially for a 2002), and sweetish, with a touch of truffle. Again, didn't make a huge impression.

February 9, 2023 - Zombie Wines at Terra Rossa (Terra Rossa, Islington): Few notes taken, towards the end of evening. What I can decipher says deep medium red. Sweet fruit, dark cherry, pomegranate, bay leaf, herbs. I recall it being rather lovely actually, very decent.

February 15, 2022 - Decanted, consumed over several hours.
This was fantastic the first hour or so, very expressive on the nose and front palate,
falling short on the med to end.
It fell apart and became disjointed and tart after 2 hours.
I remember having this about 10 yrs ago and it was beautiful front to back.
    Drink now,

August 29, 2019 - My last and maybe best bottle of this wine. Mature with good fruit, graphite, herbs, mushrooms and earth. Went well with grilled burgers. Drink up.

May 21, 2018 - Nice garnet colour with just the beginning of orange hue at the rim. Nose of dark berries , full mouth feel with good length. At peak I think. Decanted 1 hour. Enjoyed with steaks and mushrooms.

(MOULIN ST. GEORGE) Moulin St. George Dear Friends, Here’s another Bordeaux bargain that is developing into a lovely bottle of wine. I’ve been following the Moulin St. George since release and the signs are very positive indeed. The involvement of Alain Vauthier and the resulting Ausone slant are quite intriguing (to say the least) but the vineyard this wine is produced from has so much potential it doesn’t need any hype. With the same attention to detail as at Ausone, Vauthier admits he could probably charge more for this wine but why? This is his chance to offer a mid-priced bottle of top Bordeaux (with his signature) that he knows will end up in many more mouths than Ausone. A good deed of sorts? Whatever you call it - this wine represents an absolute steal among current Bordeaux vintages. If you are buying to drink and not to auction - this is tough to pass up: " HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ONE SHIPMENT ONLY with perfect provenance: 2002 Moulin St. George (St. Emilion) (WA88-91) Thank you, Jon Rimmerman Garagiste Seattle, WA Bord9591
