November 19, 2012 - 2005 Syrah Tasting: Aromas of red fruit, pepper and some earth. Seemingly lower tannins than many other Syrahs we were tasting that night and also less body. Quite surprised to learn this was the Hermitage.

February 17, 2012 - Nose of blue fruits, leading to tart reds. Briar patch, pepper and anise star. Good balance, really head together well with acids and a bit of a tannin bit on the finish. Went suprisingly well with Chicken pesto, sweet potatoe fries and grilled asparagus.
