April 25, 2015 - Nose of raspberry and cherry, good char and licorice on the palate. Paste its peak, for sure, but still enjoyable.

January 25, 2013 - An odd juxtaposition of candied fruitiness and earthiness which keeps making me imagine it might be what it would taste like if I dropped a berry flavoured hard candy in the dirt and then stuck it back in my mouth. It's actually not nearly as bad as that sounds, but it just doesn't seem to hang together very well. It does have some decent acidity, but still comes across as sweetish. Maybe berry soda mixed with a little bit of cola and ginseng soda (which I recall tasting like dirt). I don't see any signs that it is fading yet, but also don't expect that it will improve with time.

January 8, 2013 - Maybe it's turned, but it was just a bit dust smelling,

November 17, 2012 - Good nose, short finish. Acidic, but smooth.

October 7, 2012 - Some earthiness and spice but mostly fruit. Typical NZ Pinot. Nice flavors and adequate finish. Would buy again but too new world with no true depth. Enjoyable.
