September 18, 2009 - Mine, in a tasting. Relat dark. Bitter dark-herb and mint. Germaline? On palate: warm, sweet, with crisp chocolatey strawberry reminiscent of… Smarties! New leather. Dry… oak tannins? Not sure there's much mid-palate. Annoying. Some size, and so has evident potential, but it could be a confected, imbalanced eventual failure. Gets marks for impact - ie being enjoyable for some of its big, striking, components - but I need to give it another try soon. 87.
