March 22, 2024 - Served side-by-side the '09 Polish Hill, I had thought this was showing better - petrol, flint, then lemon/lime on the palate. Nicely lifted (and fresh)!

December 15, 2023 - Huge nose of lime sauted in butter (trust me, I just did that last night for a recipe), violets and freshly laundered Oxford shirts. Mouth of lime lemon sherbet, marmalade and pineapple. Long citric finish.

    Probably still has years left.

December 13, 2023 - {screwcap, 12.5%} Mid yellow. Maturing nose of sherbert, talc and a fair bit of lime and lemon citrus. It's a little burnished on the palate, tasting exactly as the nose anticipated, but hardly aged. Medium weight, bone-dry, with a bit of initial spritziness that fades with time, it's impressive without really winning you over. A wine to admire rather than love. Should reach twenty without issue; might continue to evolve - I wouldn't bet against it.

June 10, 2023 - NNT wine club, June 2023: Maturation comparison (Brisbane): Kerosene nose, Bickford's lime cordial palate, acidity softening but very present.
Textbook Clare Valley Riesling for me and in it's prime drinking window. Likely to stay on the plateau for at least several years, but there's currently a great tension between maturing richness and youthful freshness so I think the wine can only go downhill from here and there's no benefit in waiting longer.

April 1, 2023 - Stunning. Previous scores by others might have related to bottles with corks. This makers wines went up 2 levels with stelvin as the wine is very delicate and cork ruins them.
