January 9, 2017 - Lovely with a very distinct Italian taste and smell. Brick red. All the cinnamon tones of the young wine gone. Still grip in the tannins but overall very balanced. Really great wine.

April 2, 2015 - Great to have a glass of perfectly mature wine. Charmingly old school - reminds me of a mature Barolo plus an extra layer of spice. Very forthcoming from the first sip but really shines after about 30 minutes. Peaking now. Wish I had more bottles.
