  August 4, 2011 - Wow, I don't expect much from this winery, but fizzy (re-fermenting or unfinished ML) reds in the bottle is a new low. Thank goodness I didn't pay for this bottle. They need to stop leaving RS in their wines and fix their poor winemaking. A poor representation of Santa Barbara County wines.

  August 1, 2011 - Odd. Only two bottles I had were both spoiled. The first effervesced like a champagne, the other not quite so much. This refermentation is likely caused by contamination during bottling rather than bad corks. Given that all tasters are reporting the same thing, I'd say it was a production problem. No other Roblar wines I've ever tasted (42 bottles according to CT) showed this issue.

  January 18, 2011 - I initially liked this when I tasted it at the winery. But after opening the bottle at home, it did not win me. Artificial sweetness, astringent, synthetic taste, and lack of backbone. The $30 price point made it even a greater turn off.

  August 8, 2010 - My second of two bottles of this wine, and also the second to have a defective cork, discovered when it leaked in my cellar. Roblar winery contacted for refund or replacement. Looks like Roblar got a batch of bad corks. Too bad they are sold out of this wine ... I liked it when I tasted it in the tasting room.
