July 31, 2022 - Surprisingly solid, good acidity well past it’s expected prime. Floral nose, balanced finish

February 18, 2022 - Clear translucent red color. Scent of sandalwood, cedar and a note of red currant and fatty soap (my glass was clean). Sexy red cherry flavor. Silky and long on the palate. Classy juice that has finally absorbed most of the generous oak it received in its elevage. With air the color bricks then darkens inexplicably, smoothing out and finishing with a touch of grippy wood tannin. Very nice, but drink up in the next five years. These were almost undrinkable early on due to the excessive, but high quality oak treatment. I still have a few of these late 90s Flowers Pinots in the cellar and it’s nice to see they have held up and evolved in a positive manner.

August 30, 2021 - Opened 2 hours before tasting. Dark red, deep nose but rather muted. Long on the palate with a lovely finish; tasting much younger than its age 2/8 for the group and my 2/8 as well.

May 21, 2020 - Drinking spectacularly. The color of a clear, dark rosé. Thrown a tremendous amount of sediment. Generous cherry, roses, juicy strawberries, long complex finish. And all of that youthful, excessive oak has been absorbed. Should hold for another eight years. Well done.

March 28, 2018 - Brick color throughout, clear ruby. Amazingly fresh with initially tart and then candied cherries, backed by licorice and a smooth purity of flavor that is remarkable for a 19 year old California Pinot. Not too complex, but delicious nonetheless. This has thrown considerable sediment. Benefits from 20 minutes in a decanter. Drink now or hold.

8/31/2006 (link) 87 points(Flowers Pinot Noir Camp Meeting Ridge) Group's #4 (my #6) - high pitched raspberry and cream nose, with VA, that changes over 45 minutes in the glass to a Zin nose; big, ripe fruit on a palate that tastes young and tight, with impressions of raspberries and cream; medium finish (Least varietally true of the six. Had we not known these were all Flowers Pinots, I might have thought it was a Zin or an oaky Tempranillo. I wouldn't have picked it for Pinot.)
