  March 24, 2023 - Beat the '91 Heitz: Very sweet and ripe nose but more restrained and elegant on the palate with red cherry fruit. No depth to this however. Unmistakably new world, guessed Aussie. 6/8.

  May 16, 2010 - Second day. Sweet nose of dark cherries and white chocolate. Smooth, a touch of alcohol, good length of mature red fruits (plums and cherries). Great balance of fruit, acid and tannin. To drink now and over the next couple of years.

  March 13, 2010 - Deep dark red center, red to pink rim with very slight signs of age (youthful given 9 years).
  Fabulous nose of ripe plums, stewed cherries, some ripe cheese, a little barnyard,
  Sweet, plums and cherries, acidity and good tannins, sweet corn, oak, raspberries jam on the finish (long), great smooth finish of lighter fred fruits and jam.
  Extraordinary, exemplary merlot, a bargain for the price. WIll last a couple more years no problem.

  June 24, 2007 - Real deal merlot here....Big, round, gritty and earthey all at the same time....Great rich sweet fruit with more of a cab complexity than merlot...Would've never guessed this was merlot...Tasty, drank 3 bottles that were Andouzed from 7-10 hours
