    May 28, 2011 - Saturdays at One - Volume 49: WIML90

Tasted non blind at a retail tasting.

Dark garnet color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of plum, roasted meat, a bit of florals, a bit of white pepper and some wet stones. Flavors of tart berries and raspberries. Medium acidity, medium tannins, medium body. Drink now through the next 5-7 years plus or minus.

May 14, 2011 - Staff Favorites (Farpointe Cellar): Stony and floral on the nose, with black currant and cherry, spice and vanilla, and a hint of earth at the end. The palate is like the nose, but a little less interesting. I think is is too young.
