September 26, 2020 - Lovely right now, but the structure is starting to fade a bit. Drink now - wouldn't wait longer.

March 21, 2020 - Saturday late night drinks at Maison Dakota. Tasted blind. Screw-cap. Drank in Grassl Cru.
Appearance is clear, pale intensity, ruby colour. Legs.
Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of mint, pine, forest floor, dark red cherries. Developed.
On the palate, dry, medium+ acidity, medium alcohol (13%), structured medium+ tannins, medium+ body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of dark red cherries, black cherries, salty earth, forest floor, minty pine, spice. Medium+ finish.
Very good quality. Complex well-aged New World Pinot. New Zealand? Certainly amongst the best Pinots from NZ. Good time to drink already.

June 19, 2010 - Central Otago Pinot Noir Expo (Prince Wine Store - Bank Street): The nose starts with savoury notes such as autumn leaves moving into more funky farm smells. A big serious palette with masses of cherry and plum.
