Community Tasting Notes 1

October 1, 2009 - Rich and creamy, and still a little young. there is plenty of skin tannin that dominates the flavor profile. Probably needs a couple more years. Still fruity, very dark, minimal if any browning on the rim. A good amount of the barnyard. The oak has completely integrated. Nice blueberry flavor. The acid is a little faded, kind of Zinfandel like. Finish of tobacco and earth. Getting more complex with air. A serious wine.
