October 9, 2021 - Method: blind; pop and pour; white wine glass; chilled

    Look: medium brown; viscous

Nose: pecan pie. baking spices, honey, molasses, brown sugar, orange

Palate: nuts, raisin; long finish of burnt toast, burnt butter, nutmeg, coffee; medium+ sweetness; full- body; medium+ acidity

Overall thoughts: This was likely more oxidized than it should've been and showed quite a good amount of bitter notes on the palate that I wasn't a fan of. Having said that, it has a nice nose and has the sweetness and structure to juuust hold up to and contrast those bitter notes. Pretty good wine.

June 3, 2020 - Dark gold color. Still showing nicely. Honey and butterscotch, as expected, but some fresh red apple notes. Sorghum with lemony notes on the long finish.

October 22, 2016 - Very tasty, rich, creamy sweet but excellent character after all these years--light gold, butterscotch notes, silky and yummy.
Compared with 1975 Coutet. Renee France vs. CA tasting.
