April 4, 2023 - Deep colour, roasted fruit, lots of tannin, but well buffered, spicy, coffee notes - what I expected really, and once you accept that it's not going to show the freshness and finesse of a normal year, it's very enjoyable as a one-off expression of RSV.

November 18, 2017 - Pure, elegant richness, juicy, and not at all cooked.

September 6, 2016 - Complex, garnet color, stewed fruit, balanced, leather, and long finish.

September 8, 2015 - In a flight against 03 drc and 03 cathiard, this wine was the least impressive. The nose had some candied fruit to begin with but the perfume slowly faded. The palate was not complex enough for a rsv but the weight was there.

December 27, 2014 - Complex and subtle nose with purple flowers, wet moss, saddle leather, burnt stew and perfume. Each whiff shows something new. The wine has some structure for a 2003. Rich and long on the palate but not too powerful. Some development, but mostly primary. I expect this will gain significantly more complexity over the next 5 years.
