Community Tasting Notes 2

  • tendring Likes this wine: 85 points

October 5, 2009 - Wine Education Service - Hungary (LSE): Opaque, intense blackcurrant colour.
Cassis on the nose, elegant lovely, spicy.
Fruity but pretty tannic, the balance suggests it could improve over three to five years, quite long.

October 5, 2009 - WES - Hungary (LSE Holbourn): Deep intense dark wine. Stewed fruits dominated by cassis, vanilla and raspberry with a little smoke. Full, rich and lush. Cassis on the palate with soft tannins. A little heat (14.5%). Still young.
