  July 26, 2014 - Drinking really well right now. Not showing any sign of getting too old. Throwing a fair bit of fine grained sediment. Black fruit and menthol nose. Palate of black fruit, bit of burnt Carmel, some slight alcohol burn.

  July 7, 2012 - Big, chewy syrah with loads of dark fruit, dried prune, tar and a bit of heat from the alcohol (15.4%). This was an '06 and it was still a bit tight with a slight sharp edge on the tannins.

  December 18, 2011 - Not as good as my other bottle, but still quite enjoyable. This was a bit generic night 1 but well made, maybe 87? The tannins have settled a bit, but still decent acidity and balance despite the 15.4% ABV. This was actually better Night 2 by a good bit, maybe 88-89. It was plusher(OK), but more nuance came thru as well. I think i liked it in its youth better for the earthy tannins that give great balance, but otherwise give it air. Nice.
