Community Tasting Notes 2

December 24, 2014 - Solid dark cherry core is apparent right away at uncorking, and this is more dark, brooding fruit than bright and red. The sides are just a just a touch drying. Seems to lose its steam at the two hour mark, losing the sweetness to the fruit. With about four hours of air, the palate shows cherry, red plum and blood orange notes, tart, high acidity, could use more sweetness of fruit. Overall, the lack of sweetness to the fruit seems to distinguish this wine.

October 2, 2014 - A bit four-square and workman-like but vibrant fruit and depth of flavor make this quite enjoyable.
