January 26, 2024 - Elegant, soft sweet tannins, red fruit. Wonderful

April 28, 2020 - drank a while back with my good mate Johannes in Singapore ( before CVD19) along with 96 Dom and 85 Lynch Bages. this Charmes from a great vintage was basically too young. but its all there. rich, dark cherry, still some tannin and oak to resolve but medium to full bodied with a long flavor and finish. worth seeking out as not known to many. cellar for another 10 years yet.

April 21, 2018 - Burghound Symposium Asia - Perrot-Minot Dinner (Hong Kong): Very ripe nose, fruit compote, plum, concentrated, drying finish. Too extracted for a higher note. A shadow of the good 2014/15

April 14, 2018 - Very Good wine. Decanted 2 hours. Powerful. Plenty of life. Will get better with time.

January 31, 2015 - Still too early to touch this. Rich fruit with almost too much sweetness has not yet melded with the oak (which is distractingly noticeable). But there is enough here that it should become more enjoyable with age. Consumed with a subtle venison dish. Would wait a few years before going back to this wine. Would have benefited from more air time than I was able to provide it this evening.
