December 7, 2023 - Jadotfest 2023 (Noizé, London): Intense quince paste character some sliced ripe apricot and a little passion fruit. Great length with a lovely line of acidity to counter the honeyed core with some grated lime zest notes. With air some marzipan touches too.

October 21, 2023 - Duft sehr deutlich nach Quitte, etwas Zitrusschale, Grapefruit, Bitterorange, Nelke, Marzipan. intensiv im Mund, wieder Quitte, Salzlakritz, wieder etwas Bitterorange, Marzipan. Etwas Säure, etwas Salmiak-Schärfe, wieder intensiv Quitte. Mittlere Komplexität, gute Länge.

March 26, 2023 - From 0.375 bottle. This seems a little fresher than my last bottle 3 years ago. Deep golden color. This is nicely balanced, mid-weight and fresh, with notes of saffron, apricot jam, some sweet spices, honey, caramel, some smokey botrytis notes, some flowery notes too and figs. It‘s medium+ bodied, with medium acidity and just beautiful overall balance of sweetness and acidity. Pretty long finish. An excellent Sauternes to drink up.
Paired really beautifully with humanely raised Foie Gras.

November 26, 2020 - Deep golden color. This is mature and time to drink. Open notes of saffron, citrus, honey, some savory and sweet spices, botrytis, caramel and also some vegetal note, figs and also some apricot jam. It‘s medium+ bodied, with medium acidity and medium sweetness. Good length. A mature, ready to drink and nice Sauternes. Time to drink up.
