  February 9, 2014 - Second bottle of three, and while quite drinkable I am still mostly unimpressed. This time I get a distinct caramel taste which is nice, but not at all expected from a cab. Plenty of fruit, again somewhat unexpected. If I blind tasted this one I would swear it was a Zin.

  September 19, 2011 - This wine was a trickster. Decent enough typical Peachy cab (Zins are their strength). Ran through the venturi, but the wine remained very closed. Only drank a glass. Some decent black & red fruit, not as hot as many of their wines, medium tannins and acidity, but with very little texture, or balance - maybe an 87 - decent enough daily drinker, but nothing special. Then, had a glass the second night and it was whole different story. Not as much fruit, but picked-up a silky mouth-feel and the acidity and tannins integrated well to provide a nice tasting experience - solid 90. So, how do you rate this wine? Drinkable, but unremarkable at first, then develops into something so much nicer.
