October 8, 2022 - Dark purple, dense black fruit, menthol, cedar, with blackberry, spice, black cherry and supporting acidity and tannins. Drinking well, not old, great with grilled cheeseburgers

August 12, 2022 - Who says Malbec doesn't age? Inky dark, wonderful mature bouquet and powerful on the palate still with some balancing tannins. GREAT QPR - wish we had many more but we just had this one.

October 3, 2015 - Inky black color. Massive wine, with loads of extracted fruit and oak treatment. Blackberry compote and espresso are most obvious flavors. Excessive alcohol on the nose and palate. Air helps a little, but it's still out of balance. The terroir suggests this could be a much better wine, if made in a more restrained style. Overpriced for the showing.

Very good Malbec. Still pretty young. Unfortunately it was my last bottle. Wish i had more. 93 pts. now. In a few years maybe even more.

May 8, 2013 - Very dark ruby. Amazingly pure blackberry and dark plum fruit alongside sweet spices like vanilla, clove and cinnamon. Full-bodied and dense, reminiscent of a dry port, with huge fruit, velvety tannins, sweetness, balancing acidity and evident heat from excessively high alcohol (16%). Very long aftertaste. A rich and characterful wine but somewhat over the top.
