March 14, 2016 - A darker hue of yellow in the glass, this is on the creamy side for a white burgundy with a fuller mouthfeel that holds up the lemon/citrus and slate palate. Lush and smooth with a longer finish and in the prime of its drinking window.

February 9, 2014 - straw-yellow colour with oatmeal leading on the nose, with lemon in in the background with a faint hint of (highland!) toffee, vanilla and fennel. Swirling brings forward sherbetty lemon.

On the palate lemon and toffee fight it out, but giving the feeling it needed something to fill the gap between them. Acidity is nicely judged, refreshing without shocking.

Might be worth leaving this for another 2-3 years though I wouldn't risk leaving it much more than that.

July 16, 2013 - Lemon yellow color. Sweet aromas of butterscotch, maybe a tropical bent? Creamy creamy creamy lemon buttery curd with abundant minerality, and a zesty lemon acidity to finish. Medium bodied with a lasting zesty stony finish.

September 25, 2012 - Again this performs very well. Consistent with my last note.

May 27, 2012 - First time with a Pouilly fuissé. Drank alongside scallop with orange peel sauce.

Nose: Mineral, creme de citron, citrus, orchard fruits and a hint of oak at the end.

Palate: Explosive and heavy. Still young. I agree with Amateurvino that this wine feels almost tannic !! The fruits came out in the midpalate with green apple, creme de citron, lime and some flowers as well. Then the finish is mineral with a buttery oak feel to it.

Great wine but 2-3 years from prime.

    90-92+

    Voilà !
