May 18, 2022 - After the initial scare caused by the mid gold colour, this has turned out to be a delight. Fully mature with that mix of crystalline honeycomb and salinity. Maturity cut with minerality, some rounding balanced by a fine cut and line. Open up and drink up if this bottle is representative, but probably no great hurry. ****

July 30, 2020 - Sensationally good — one of the best bottles from this case, real energy and saline cut, piercing and fresh with saline and iodine notes. Mid weight on the palate, lovely line and cut. One of the best and most typical Chablis I’ve had in a while. ****. While still good the next evening, it has broadened with some crab apple, and lost the piercingly saline mineral cut that defined it yesterday.

April 26, 2020 - Pale straw. Saline on the nose, somehow subtle but quite intense and penetrating. Some lime too. Very fresh and grippy on the attack. Saline. Lovely line. Decent weight and lots of intensity. ****

April 26, 2019 - Curious one this. Previous bottles have been excellent, really fresh, saline and proper Chablis, but this was astringently acidic to the extent of battery acid. Hopefully just a slightly faulty bottle rather than part of a wider evolutionary cycle. **1/2

March 9, 2019 - Pale straw. Saline, lime-scented nose. Reasonably intense. Finely mineral and really quite grippy on the mid palate to finish. Long. ****
