August 24, 2020 - Wenig Kraft, durchaus harmonisch gereift

March 12, 2015 - After some bad bottles this was a return to the form earlier ones had shown. Leather, cigar box and red cherries on the nose, followed by quite a thick mouthful of cherry and blackberry, with a middle section of sweet wild strawberry that fills the palate and a long, persistent finish. Not the most complex of wines and there is a certain rusticity, but great fun to drink and excellent value.

April 11, 2014 - Classic Bordeaux nose of pencil shaving, dry black berries and smoky oak with a hint of dried herbs in the undertone. After some breathing, cigar box note emerged. Palate followed the nose. There is ripe blue fruits with a supple mid-palate. Finish is rounded and lingering. Although the wine has no obvious shortcomings, it is just not exciting, perhaps a bit conservative.

April 7, 2014 - I was agreeably surprised by the first bottles I tried so this was very disappointing. Still very rich and ample, but as the fruit has jammified, it has taken on a liquorice taste that I found rather unpleasant. No point in selling so I'll try it again in a year or two, by which time it may have sorted itself out.

March 28, 2014 - Continuo penando que este vino mantiene su alto potencian y que bien vale la pena mantener una botellas unos años más. Su evolución es lenta y puede quizás ser las suave en los próximos años.
