August 28, 2010 - August 28th @ Weygandt Wine (Weygandt Wines, Cleveland Park, Washington D.C.): This probably needs some time as the alcohol was coming through with lots of intensity. Beyond the alcohol there was pepper, raspberry, and cherry flavors. Hard to really pull out other flavors as the heat was just too much for me.

November 28, 2009 - Good cherry red colour. Nose shows plum, blackberry and vanilla. Palate offes good black fruit and bitter chocolate. Gripping tannic structure, that could benefit from some years cellaring.
