Community Tasting Notes 2

May 10, 2017 - Faded relative to what I recall from a few years ago. But still a touch of slate and spicy fruit in the nose. Surprisingly rich mouthfeel. Okay acidity on the finish

June 14, 2010 - Hard for me to judge a wine of this style at this age. Was shocked by the fruit off the nose, and honestly by its performance in the glass. Not at all oxidated. Many typical sauvignon notes are still abundantly present, but also some dieselly character has developed giving it that one extra layer... though not much. I don't think time improved this wine incredibly, but incredibly it hasn't hurt it. Happy to have had the chance to taste it, and perhaps the rush is off to drink my older vintages.
