July 18, 2012 - Retail ~$20. Disclosure: I paid $12.99 at the PLCB for personal consumption. Alright, we all know that I am but a shill for Argyle–I do not receive any sort of compensation whatsoever from these guys, but I have been enjoying their wines for years. This was no different. It has received some mixed reviews on Cellar Tracker, but I found this to be very good. A bit muted but then some petrol on the nose along with a bit of pineapple. Too cold initially, but as it warmed, much more expressive with a medium to long finish. Will likely buy some more. Very Good. 89 points.

July 2, 2012 - PLCB never has Argyle available through Chairman's Selection. This explains the fire sale pricing. Skip this one, folks. Disjointed, lacking acidic edge, kind of a mess on the finish. The "flawed" bottle below probably wasn't flawed. Just underperforming juice.

May 29, 2012 - Intense smell and taste erasers. Finish is short. A few hidden notes of stone fruit. At 12.5% etoh it still isn't particularly acidic. No minerality. Finish is short. Residual sugar @ 1% makes it an easy simple sipper if not particularly pleasurable.

September 29, 2011 - I'm "assuming" the bottle was bad - however if not, this was a disappointment. Bouquet: Rubber and peach. Palate: Apple juice front, heavy tangy mid, majorly sour finish.
