December 13, 2020 - Jason’s’ 49th Birthday Dinner .. Have had this in my cellar for years and never had a reason to drink until tonight.. Wow beautiful light gold color, needed a few minutes to blow off initial funk. Within 10 minutes this was firing on all cylinders. What an amazingly fresh, balanced glass of 49 year old Mersault, filled with yellow fruits, decent acidity keeps this wines impressive richness in check. Lovely finish and remarkably this remained impressive to the last sip.
