October 8, 2012 - modern fruit forward Pinot. Lower acid than I prefer, it had trouble holding up to the halibut in white wine reduction herbed meyer lemon butter.

August 24, 2012 - Nice place right now. True clear burgundy color, big spice and red fruit nose. Ripe strawberry, lightly spiced oak and caramel mid pallette made this wine sing after a 1 to 2 hour "air off".

August 12, 2012 - PnVnD 30 min. Nice dark clear burgundy color. Great nose of spice, ripe strawberries, trademark cola, and just a bit of earthy funk. On the palate, great balance between spice, red fruits, and acidity. This wine went through a really awkward stage about a year ago but has come around and and just beautiful right now.
Much better in a Riedel Vivant Burgundy glass than the Riedel Vinum Burgundy glass. -
