December 15, 2023 - Deep ruby color. Nose of tobacco leaf and sweet red berries. Lighter on the palate than I had anticipated, pleasant.

May 1, 2023 - Deep mid ruby. Richly red fruited with a dense but finely velvety texture. Bright with good acidity. Tannins nicely resolved. If you like them young, this is ready to go, and certainly enjoyable, but it’s still fruit led without any flavour development; texturally it’s pretty much there. Structure is based on fruit and acidity and should see it through the next couple of decades nicely. First sighter, so with two cases minus this bottle, one every year to eighteen months should chart its evolution smoothly. **** 91, with upside.
