December 18, 2021 - A deep golden color. Notes were strong on ripe golden apples, apple pie apple filling, baking spices, nutmeg, orange peel, and lemon curd. The nose was pleasant but didn't give much yeasty notes. On the palate it was heavy on the apple and lemon notes with very high acidity. The fruit was fading. It had a full body and very creamy mouse. Over the course of about 1-2 hours it didn't develop any further. This was enjoyable but felt on the decline. I would suggest drinking now with food to pair instead of as an appertif and something to match the acidity on this wine.

November 15, 2019 - Last bottle, highly enjoyable, bruised apple, complex yeasts, lemon acidity, very very good.

August 26, 2019 - This was seriously interesting. Served blind and thought champagne. The fact an English sparkling can age this well really highlights how good this producer is, and how good wines from this region can be.

The colour is starting to become golden and the nose and palate are dominated be sweet apples. As a blanc des blancs, apples are often common, but these were not quite the crisp green apples you get with young champagnes, but slightly bruised, red apples. Bubbles are fresh and vibrant still with nice acidity and no real bitterness. Just a great wine.

May 7, 2018 - Very enjoyable but not quite up to previous bottles - starting a gentle decline?

March 23, 2018 - Wow, really good, perfectly mature, rich, fine mousse, baked apple, brioche, 20 years'' young...
