February 13, 2020 - Meaty mouthfeel and taste, with complimentary pepper and spice notes. Black plum umami and eucalyptus flavors adds to this well crafted Syrah/Grenache/Cinsault/Mouverdre/Carignane blend. A unique harmonious blend that surprises the palate. This glass was from a cork-finished magnum (the 750 ml bottles have screw caps) that has no sign of tiredness and should age well for some time to come.

October 13, 2019 - Splash decanted. Earthy, peppery, quite spicy in fact with meaty notes, a little herbaceous with pencil shavings, baked plums, spiced red berry jam. In the mouth it's savoury, peppery with a little charcuterie, alcohol warmth, slightly drying, grainy textured tannins, plummy fruit and a touch of chalky minerality but it's all a but flabby and unwieldy. I think 30 minutes in the fridge will help.
Note - it did; lending a little freshness, taming a little alcohol warmth and softening the tannins (oddly) to a more leathery taste and texture. A bit of a drink up considering it's under screwcap.1 person found this helpful Comment -

July 29, 2018 - Darker and more concentrated than previous vintages, altogether really rather good. Intense with deep nose and broad palate, lots of beautiful liquorice, firm finish and with some length. Bigger than expected, but undeniably excellent.
