July 6, 2019 - After 13 years, still needed time to open up, took about 2 hrs to fully unfurl.
Bitter Black cherries, dried raisins, some fresh prunes, still very powerfully tannic but very fine mouth coating tannins they are!
Aged dried herbs like an old bouquet garni, lovely tar as well, only missing the floral lift which we have come to expect from Nebbiolo.
Still has a long life ahead technically. I feel will still be singing in the next 5 years at least.

September 16, 2018 - Day 1, too closed and tannic. After one glass, re-corked and waited for Day 2. Still not the friendliest bottle but the Nebbiolo does shine through. Firm, structured, best with food

November 22, 2015 - Initially tannins dominated with little fruit. After a while dark fruit and spices developed nicely. But after another 1-2 hours the fruit diminished and the tannins once again took over.

August 14, 2015 - - Garnet color and has flavours of rose - 1hr decant, not sufficient. Closed on nose, possibly too cool. Opened beautifully in the glass through meal. Classic rose with tar hints. Better on second day

November 10, 2013 - Dark red with lighter rim. Generous nose with cherries, alcohol, chocolate and some coffee. Immediate good fruit and very concentrated. Very tight and lots of tannins. Good lenght. This must be nebbiolo at its toughest. Tannins apparent like a tough, young wine but this is already 7 years old. still showing no signs of aging. Wait 10 years and hopefully it might polish off some of the tannins.
