August 22, 2011 - Quite a pretty yellow-green in the glass. Rich tropical nose, with very interesting and pleasant aromatics from the oak and malo. Similar palate. Alcohol is in reasonable balance. Acidic structure is sufficient to make for nice current drinking or perhaps even some improvement with a few years in the cellar, even though the depth of chardonnay fruit is not great. It's always a nice surprise to discover a fine value like this.

August 15, 2011 - A cut above the average. You can taste the buttery chardonnay right away - and it stays on the palate. I did not find this too 'citrusy' at all. In fact, you need that grapefruit tasting balance for a chardonnay. Not a full oaky burgundy style but very clean and distinctive. I'd gladly have it again! Hmmm..... I think I will........
