October 26, 2020 - Seductive and powerful aroma - fruit, spice, roses. Beguiling. Beautifully balanced and delicious; maybe a tad alcoholic? A little cloudy. But still everything I hoped for when I thought, “how about a cru Beaujolais with some age?” Yum, wish there was a lot more of it in my cellar.

August 4, 2020 - Five years since the last time we tried this, and it's only gotten better. An unapologetic purplish hue with a faint amber rim the only signs of age. Restrained but expressive nose. I love the silky texture that Gamay gets with time, and its subtle but vibrant grapey profile. At 12 years old this wine still has upside.

October 12, 2017 - This is lighter and gossamer in style but still very rewarding, able to coax out some classic, if less intense, Morgon aromas and flavors

June 28, 2015 - This wine has gotten successively better each time I've tried it over the last five years. Popped and poured, immediately accessible and quickly blooming. I enjoyed the nose for several minutes before taking my first taste. Violets, minerals, and barnyard, wonderful. Silky, balanced and lively on the tongue. As with most well made cru Beaujolais, refreshing and an utter pleasure to drink.

November 1, 2013 - A very nice Corcelette with fresh red fruit, earth, floral tones and some subtle spice. It's light across the palate but has good length and intensity. Fine to drink now.
