June 5, 2023 - The middle aged, secondary magic was taking form on this bottle- cinnamon stick, dried roses, incense with a good base of dried red cherry fruit. With air time, one finds a bit of truffle/mushroom nuances that are just giving way to the early stages of some sous bois magic. Very spice-driving with the cinnamon/clove action, making this delightful for drinking right now. Supple, integrated tannins already with low-key acidity. This should hold well for a bit but is certainly drinkable at present. Very open Vosne with elegance and style.

August 4, 2015 - Bakery spices, clove; opens up to dark black tea, hint of maple syrup; smooth and light. VG only

November 2, 2014 - Clear Vosne right away; lots of brown baking spices on top of cherry, touch of mineral. Eventually giving way to tea spices. Very subtle but with no absence of real material at work. Good cut and clarity to the flavors. Drinking well now.
