February 12, 2014 - Dark maroon in the glass and brown at the tips. Cola and nutmeg on the noose with a hint of must. Cola, milk chocolate, green wet earth on the palate. A very nice wine!

April 16, 2011 - Dundee Hills Passport Tour (Dundee Hills, Oregon): The nose here is quite enjoyable delivering dark cherries balanced with nice nutmeg scents and a bit of strawberry. The cherries touch down gently and enjoyably before they fade gently to the sides of the mouth. A touch of minerality and some dark tobacco show on the mid palate, and the plums and dark cherry skins show up on the finish. This has a lot going on already, and like many 08's, I see some good aging potential here.

August 26, 2010 - Dundee Hills Tasting Event In Portland (Portland, OR): Dark, earthy structure is apparent on the nose along with some delicate dark cherry scents. The texture is smooth with lots of fruit. Grapefruit, balanced blackberries, and some raspberries all make an appearance. The oak is balanced excellently. A hint of something green appears on the mid palate. The acidity evolves nicely and cleans everything up very well on the finish.

April 17, 2010 - Dundee Hills Passport Weekend; 4/17/2010-4/18/2010 (Dundee Hills Oregon): Blackberries dominate the nose here, and there is a hint of something syrupy. Everything is very clean on the palate. Clean blackberries with a hint of stems show through, and everything is already integrated well with the tannins on the finish.

March 29, 2010 - Novoino's 4th annual portfolio tasting (Park Hyatt Hotel, Chicago IL): nose: very fragrant and floral nose filled with tones of red florals, perfume tones, herbs, red cherries and all sorts of fresh picked berries

taste: silky medium feel with medium+ acidity. Backed up by balanced and elegant tones of red florals, herbs, red cherries, and a good amount of red berries as well

overall: this is a real pretty and perfumed pinot. Very balanced and demure, this brings a very feminine style while also being very young
